Take a tour of two of Fluvanna County’s beautiful museums!
In the morning, stop by the Farm Heritage Museum at Pleasant Grove from 10-12pm during Art in the Park. The Farm Heritage Museum contains farming equipment that tells the story of Fluvanna’s agricultural heritage from 1865-1965. We’ll have a scavenger hunt with prizes for the kids. You won’t want to miss it!
In the afternoon, swing by Palmyra and take a tour of the Old Stone Jail Museum in Palmyra, Virginia and learn about the fascinating history of Fluvanna County, from its formation in 1777 through the 20th century. The Fluvanna Historical Society will feature tours of the Old Stone Jail Museum and offer fun activities for kids, light refreshments, and gifts for sale for history buffs. Join us for this FREE and family friendly event!
