Reception: Looking Back, Seeing Now
This powerful collaboration between local artists and descendants of Fluvanna’s enslaved and free Black residents honors their stories with 17 stunning portraits. The exhibit will be on display at the Fluvanna Public Library starting Feb. 2, sharing these stories for future generations.
On Saturday, Feb 2, from 2pm to 5 pm, there will be a reception to officially open and welcome the exhibit. The event will feature light refreshments and live music.
