In The Sound of Music, Maria, a lively and musical nun, is sent to be the governess for the strict Captain von Trapp and his seven children. Initially struggling to fit in, Maria’s joyful spirit and love of music soon bring happiness and unity to the family. As World War II threatens their safety, the von Trapp family must rely on their courage, love, and Maria’s songs to overcome the challenges ahead and find a way to escape their troubles.
